This guide provides comprehensive instructions for installing and configuring the Monitoring Agent on a Mac (macOS) device. The Monitoring Agent is a software tool that collects system performance and usage data from the device and sends it to the Monitoring Platform for analysis and reporting.

A Mac (macOS) device with an Internet connection
An account with a user ID and password
Administrative privileges

Installation
Download the Installation Package

Go to the Monitoring Platform website and navigate to the "Downloads" section. Download the Monitoring Agent installation package for macOS.Open the Installation Package

Double-click on the downloaded installation package (.pkg) to open it.Follow the Installation Wizard

Click on "Continue" and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation. You will need to provide your user ID and password when prompted.Authenticate with the Monitoring Platform

Once the installation is complete, a login window will appear. Enter your Monitoring Platform username and password.

Configuration

Step 1: Open Monitoring Agent Preferences
