How to Set Up Metric Monitoring in TMW207

TMW (Transportation Management Warehouse) is a software platform designed for managing all aspects of a trucking operation, from dispatching to accounting. One of the key features of TMW is its ability to monitor key metrics, such as on-time delivery rates, fuel consumption, and driver utilization. By monitoring these metrics, fleets can identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions to optimize their operations.

To set up metric monitoring in TMW, you will need to first create a new report. To do this, click on the "Reports" tab in the TMW navigation menu and then click on the "New Report" button. In the "Report Type" field, select "Metric Report." In the "Report Name" field, enter a name for your report. In the "Data Source" field, select the data source that you want to use for your report. You can choose from a variety of data sources, such as the TMW database, the TMW API, or a third-party data source.

Once you have selected your data source, you will need to specify the metrics that you want to monitor. To do this, click on the "Metrics" tab in the report editor. In the "Metrics" field, enter the names of the metrics that you want to monitor. You can use the wildcard character (*) to match multiple metrics. For example, if you want to monitor all of the metrics that start with "On-Time Delivery," you would enter the following in the "Metrics" field: On-Time Delivery*

Once you have specified the metrics that you want to monitor, you will need to specify the criteria that you want to use to filter your data. To do this, click on the "Filters" tab in the report editor. In the "Filters" field, enter the criteria that you want to use to filter your data. You can use a variety of operators, such as equal to, not equal to, greater than, and less than. For example, if you want to only monitor on-time delivery rates for shipments that were delivered in the last month, you would enter the following in the "Filters" field: Delivery Date >= TODAY() - 30

Once you have specified the criteria that you want to use to filter your data, you will need to specify how you want to display your results. To do this, click on the "Display" tab in the report editor. In the "Display" field, select the type of chart that you want to use to display your results. You can choose from a variety of chart types, such as bar charts, line charts, and pie charts. You can also specify the sorting order of your results and the number of results that you want to display.

Once you have specified how you want to display your results, you will need to save your report. To do this, click on the "Save" button in the report editor. Your report will be saved to the Reports folder in the TMW navigation menu.

To view your report, click on the "Reports" tab in the TMW navigation menu and then click on the name of your report. Your report will be displayed in the report viewer. You can use the report viewer to view your results, export your results to a variety of formats, and schedule your report to run on a regular basis.

Monitoring key metrics is essential for optimizing your trucking operation. By setting up metric monitoring in TMW, you can identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions to improve your on-time delivery rates, reduce fuel consumption, and increase driver utilization.
