How to Configure Monitoring Destinations220

Monitoring destinations are the places where your monitoring data is sent. By default, your data is sent to the Google Cloud Monitoring API. However, you can also send your data to other destinations, such as:
A Cloud Pub/Sub topic
A BigQuery dataset
An Amazon SNS topic
A PagerDuty service

Sending your data to multiple destinations can be useful for:
Reliability: If one destination is unavailable, your data will still be sent to the other destinations.
Scalability: You can distribute your data across multiple destinations to improve performance.
Customization: You can use different destinations to send different types of data to different places.

To configure a monitoring destination:1. Open the Google Cloud Monitoring console.
2. Click on the Destinations tab.
3. Click on the Create destination button.
4. Select the type of destination you want to create.
5. Enter the configuration information for the destination.
6. Click on the Create destination button.

Once you have configured a monitoring destination, your data will be sent to that destination.
