IntroductionThe ThinkShield Monitoring Audio Configuration utility enables you to configure the audio settings for your ThinkShield Monitoring device. This utility allows you to adjust the following settings:Microphone volume
Speaker volume
Audio input source
Audio output source

Configuring the Microphone VolumeTo adjust the microphone volume, use the slider in the Microphone Volume section. Moving the slider to the right will increase the microphone volume, while moving the slider to the left will decrease the microphone volume.

Configuring the Speaker VolumeTo adjust the speaker volume, use the slider in the Speaker Volume section. Moving the slider to the right will increase the speaker volume, while moving the slider to the left will decrease the speaker volume.

Configuring the Audio Input SourceTo change the audio input source, select the desired input source from the Audio Input Source drop-down menu. The available input sources are:Microphone
Line In

Configuring the Audio Output SourceTo change the audio output source, select the desired output source from the Audio Output Source drop-down menu. The available output sources are:Speaker
Headphone

Other SettingsIn addition to the above settings, the ThinkShield Monitoring Audio Configuration utility also provides the following options:A Mute Microphone button that allows you to turn the microphone on or off
A Mute Speaker button that allows you to turn the speakers on or off
A Reset to Default button that will reset all of the settings to their default values

Saving Your ChangesAfter you have made your changes, click the Save button to save your settings. The changes will be applied immediately.

TroubleshootingIf you are having problems with the audio on your ThinkShield Monitoring device, try the following troubleshooting tips:Make sure that the microphone and speakers are properly connected to the device
Check the volume settings in the ThinkShield Monitoring Audio Configuration utility
Try a different audio input or output source
Restart the ThinkShield Monitoring device
