Introduction

Materials

* Hikvision camera(s)
* Hikvision recorder
* Power supply for camera(s) and recorder
* Ethernet cables
* HDMI cable (optional) for connecting the recorder to a monitor
* USB mouse (optional) for navigating the recorder's menu
Step 1: Install the Cameras
1. Choose a location for your camera(s). Make sure the location provides a clear view of the area you wish to monitor.
2. Mount the camera(s) using the included screws and brackets.

Step 4: Power on the Recorder and Cameras
Power on the recorder by pressing the power button. Power on the camera(s) by connecting the power supply.
Step 5: Configure the Recorder

3. Configure the recorder's IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway.
4. Navigate to the "Camera" tab.

6. Select the camera you wish to add from the list of detected cameras.

Step 6: View the Footage
Once the recorder is configured, you can view the camera footage by clicking on the "Live View" button. You can also view recorded footage by clicking on the "Playback" button.
