About the Role:

As a Hikvision CCTV Installation Technician in Wuxi, you will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of CCTV system installations, from initial site surveys and design to final testing and commissioning. This includes but is not limited to:
Conducting thorough site surveys to assess customer needs and determine optimal system design.
Installing and configuring Hikvision cameras, NVRs (Network Video Recorders), DVRs (Digital Video Recorders), and other related equipment.
Running and terminating cables (coaxial, fiber optic, CAT5/6).
Working with various network infrastructure components, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
Configuring network settings and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
Performing system testing and commissioning to guarantee optimal performance and reliability.
Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to CCTV systems.
Providing technical support to customers and addressing their queries effectively.
Maintaining accurate records of installations and troubleshooting activities.
Adhering to all safety regulations and best practices during installations.
Collaborating effectively with other team members to ensure project completion within deadlines and budget.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:
Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in CCTV system installation and maintenance.
Thorough understanding of IP network technologies and protocols.
Familiarity with various types of cameras (IP, analog, PTZ).
Experience with Hikvision equipment is highly preferred but not mandatory. Training will be provided.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English is required.

Desired Skills (but not required):
Experience with access control systems.
Knowledge of video management software (VMS).
Experience with fiber optic cable termination.
Certification in relevant security technologies (e.g., BICSI, CompTIA).
