Key Responsibilities:
Installation of Hikvision CCTV cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and other related equipment according to project specifications and industry best practices.
Running and terminating coaxial, fiber optic, and network cables.
Configuring and testing Hikvision security systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Hikvision security systems.
Working with various types of cabling infrastructure, including structured cabling systems.
Performing site surveys and assessments to determine the best locations for cameras and other equipment.
Maintaining accurate records of installations and troubleshooting activities.
Collaborating with project managers and other team members to ensure project timelines are met.
Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures on job sites.
Providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with clients.
Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Proficiently using testing equipment such as multimeters, cable testers and signal generators.
Understanding of IP networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
Familiarity with various camera technologies, including IP, analog, and PTZ cameras.
Experience with different types of video management systems (VMS).

Qualifications:
Proven experience (minimum 2 years) as a CCTV installer, with a strong preference for experience with Hikvision products.
Comprehensive knowledge of Hikvision CCTV systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of electrical and networking principles.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
A strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
